After some technical difficulties, THE NatsGM Show has returned with Episode #119 and we are proud to welcome Special Assignment Scout for the Arizona Diamondbacks & Director Player Personnel for Team Israel, Alex Jacobs!

On this episode Alex and I begin by discussing his early career working three separate baseball internships and how he secured a position with the Houston Astros.  Next Alex describes his tenure with the Astros, attending scout school, and his mixed emotions watching Houston win the 2017 World Series.  Then our conversation turns to his work with Team Israel in the World Baseball Classic, the process of assembling the team and his emotions watching their underdog victories against South Korea and Chinese Taipei.  Finally Alex talks about his new position with Arizona and his upcoming plans for 2018.
